The first time I saw this was when I was watching my friend’s wedding.
I saw her father’s family take a selfie and then get a text message saying, “This is your new brewery.”
It was so surreal.
Now that I know, it makes me want to create more craft breweries.
In a way, this is a reflection of how we’re evolving in our craft industry, too.
When you’re talking about a company like Sierra Nevada, you have the ability to say, “Hey, we’ve got this, we have this, and we’ve really got this.”
But when it comes to the breweries, you can’t say that.
And it’s really easy to be distracted.
As we’ve seen with craft breweries, when you’re not doing your best to keep up with demand, you’ll miss the opportunity to really get your foot in the door.
This is a challenge for us and we have to work at it.
As an industry, we can all be leaders in making sure we are doing our part.
I’m a fan of our local brewers, but as a brewery, we need to be doing better.
And if we’re going to grow, we want to do it right.
